A fuel tanker on Wednesday exploded along MCC, Upper Iweka, Onitsha, the commercial city of Anambra State.
Scores of people are reported to have been wounded due to the incident.
Shops were affected by the fire in the nearby Ochanja market.
According to social media reports, emergency workers have arrived the scene to contain the fire.
