A 30-year-old man, Tunde Adebiyi, who allegedly attempted to hypnotize and kidnap a toddler, was on Friday arraigned in an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrate’s Court.

Adebiyi had appeared before Chief Magistrate Mr. Tajudeen Elias on a charge of attempted kidnap which he pleaded not guilty to.

The prosecutor, Kehinde Omosakin, told the court that the accused had attempted to kidnap the minor between December 10 and 11 at No. 25, Ojo St., Mushin, a Lagos suburb.
