Actor Linc Edochie, elder brother to Yul Edochie, has publicly distanced himself from May Edochie by unfollowing her on Instagram—despite her still following him—amid rising tensions involving his new wife, Yinka Theisen.
The development follows a statement from Emeka Ugwuonye, legal counsel to May, who addressed the ongoing social media conflict between his client and Yinka.
The feud escalated after Yinka, recently engaged to Linc, began clashing with May’s supporters online.
According to Ugwuonye, Yinka has long been a supporter of Judy Austin and is known among Judy’s fanbase as “Lady A.”
He alleged that shortly after May unveiled her white Range Rover, Yinka presented Judy Austin’s son with a similar-looking car—a move he suggested was a deliberate attempt to imitate May.
The lawyer further claimed that Yinka, before getting involved with Linc, used alternate social media accounts to attack May, actress Rita Edochie and even Linc himself.
He said Yinka’s hostility began after May ignored several attempts by her to make contact, reportedly due to May’s loyalty to Linc’s former wife, Amaka.
Ugwuonye also alleged that Judy Austin orchestrated the introduction between Yinka and Linc, although he believes Linc may be unaware of this connection. He added that Yinka deleted past negative posts about Linc once their relationship began.
Despite publicly referring to herself as Linc’s wife, Ugwuonye clarified that the couple are only engaged and not yet married.
“Yinka has been Judy’s supporter for a long time,” Ugwuonye said.
“She used to abuse May, Rita Edochie, and even Linc with fake accounts. All this is known. Her attacks on May started after May kept ignoring her messages, likely because of her support for Amaka.”
The tension intensified recently when Yinka engaged in heated exchanges with May’s fanbase.
Some accused her of disrespect and even threatened to expose her personal details, including her age and family history. Linc defended Yinka in a post, calling her his wife and warning trolls to “mind their business.”
Linc, son of veteran actor Pete Edochie, recently tied the knot with Yinka in a private ceremony, following the collapse of his previous marriage.
Yinka, a US-based woman with grown children, first revealed their relationship in May through a social media post celebrating their transition from friends to lovers.
Emeka Ugwuonye has remained vocal in his support for May Edochie, who is currently undergoing a legal separation from her estranged husband Yul Edochie.
