Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, was among those who visited the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday to inspect facilities put in place for the early detection of coronavirus among incoming passengers at the airport.
Also on the visit were the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq; Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika; and Minister of State for Health, Olorunnimbe Mamora.
The virus now known as COVID-19 has killed more than 1,000 persons since it was discovered in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
