Lagos monarch, Saheed Elegushi, celebrates ninth coronation anniversary

Elegushi of Ikateland, His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Elegushi, Kusenla III, has celebrated his ninth coronation anniversary.

In a message posted on Instagram, the 42-year-old asked people irrespective of religion to pray for him and his kingdom.

His prayer point is that “the Almighty God would continue to give me wisdom and strength to carry out the promises that I need for our Great Kingdom and Nigeria.”

The 21st monarch of Ikate-Elegushi was said to be the youngest Lagos monarch on his coronation on April 27, 2010.

He was born on April 10, 1976 into the royal Elegushi family, from Kusenla ruling house of Ikateland, Lagos State.

Before his coronation, the monarch was part of the administration of former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu, and also that of Babatunde Fashola as senior special assistant in charge of special duties.

He is credited with transforming the ancient waterfront land to a model royal kingdom.

Oba Saheed Elegushi is married and blessed with children.
