Bullet shell

Lagos State Judicial Panel on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and other Matters has discovered several bullet shells at the Lekki toll gate.

The discoveries were made on Friday during a tour of the area after the October 20 shooting.

Head of the panel Justice Doris Okuwobi (rtd) led her team on the tour.

Reports place the bullet shells found between four and six. No figure has been confirmed by the panel.

One of the youth representatives on the panel Rinu Oduala picked two of the bullet shells, BBC Pidgin reports.

The army had denied sending troops to the toll gate on the fateful night where peaceful #EndSARS protesters were gathered.

The casualty figure is still being disputed.
