Lagos, FCT, Rivers, 18 others get new commissioners of police

Nigeria PoliceActing Inspector-General of Police, Suleiman Abba, NPM, NPOM, has released the posting of Commissioners of Police (CPs) to head Police Commands in 21 states.

This, according to a statement released Monday by Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, followed the recommendation of the Commissioners to the Police Service Commission and its subsequent approval.

Ojukwu said the appointments were made in line with the determination and drive to reposition the Nigeria Police Force for improved service delivery.

The CPs and their commands are as follows:

2 CP. ISAAC GABRIEL ACHONG – AKWA-IBOM STATE

3 CP. PAUL E. OKAFOR – KOGI STATE

4 CP. HYACINTH M. DAGALA – BENUE STATE

5 CP. IDRIS FARUK UMAR – JIGAWA STATE

6 CP. SALIHU GARBA – KWARA STATE

7 CP. A. K SHODIPO – OYO STATE

8 CP. ABUBAKAR MARAFA – OSUN STATE

9 CP. CLEMENT O. ADODA – BORNO STATE

10 CP. KAYODE C. ADERANTI – LAGOS STATE

11 CP. USMAN A. BABA – DELTA STATE

12 CP. DAN BATURE – RIVERS STATE

13 CP. KARMA HOSEA HASSAN – ANAMBRA STATE
