President of Lagos Country Club Tajudeen Akande will deliver a lecture on Sunday December 2 at the 2018 annual dinner of the Urhobo College Old Students Association, Lagos branch.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Raddison Blu Hotel, Ikeja.

The Ughegbe of Agbon Kingdom Chief Oghenekpobo Idudu is expected to chair the occasion.

President of the association Igho Okor said in a statement that the event will also feature awards to distinguished Nigerians including Dr. Austin Eruotor, Barrister Lucky Nengite, Prof. Joseph Abugu and Ogaga Orovwuje.

Mr Okor said the event would serve as a networking session for different professions and businesses, and think-tank for Nigeria’s developmental initiatives.

“The event provides an avenue for members to network, meet old schoolmates, reminisce about our times together during our days in the school.

“This year we will be giving awards to four members for their contributions towards the growth and development of the branch and professional achievements,” Okor said.
