Kwankwaso’s son nominated commissioner in Kano

Mustapha Kwankwaso, son of former presidential candidate Rabi’u Kwankwaso, has been nominated as commissioner by Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf.

The commissioner-nominees’ list sent to the Kano State House of Assembly also included three others.

Speaker of the Assembly Jibril Falgore read the letter containing the names of the nominees on the floor of the assembly on Tuesday.

The other nominees are Adamu Kibiya, Abduljabbar Garko, and Shehu Karaye.

Falgore said the governor requested the House to approve the nominations.

The governor’s letter reads, “I wish to request the kind consideration and approval of the Honourable House to appoint Four Commissioners and members of the Executive Council.

“The request is hereby forwarded for approval by the Kano Assembly.”

The nominations came after Yusuf evaluated the performance of his commissioners.
