Kokolettes help my business but I’m focused on my family – D’banj

D'banj

He has a well-earned reputation as a ladies’ man or Koko Master, but music star, D’banj, is now focused on creating wealth for his family.

Asked during a press conference to mark the first anniversary of his CREAM talent support platform on Wednesday, the 37-year-old confessed that the ladies he refers to as kokolettes were behind his successful business.

That was after the father-of-one, who had a secret wedding with Didi Kilgrow in 2016, joked that the best person to direct questions about other women to is his wife.

“I think it’s only my wife you can ask that question,” he began.

“In fact, the kokolettes are the reason why this (business) is booming,” he continued, saying one needed to strike a balance.

Having been linked with women like Adama Indimi, Genevieve Nnaji, Jennifer Obayuwana, Bonang Matheba and Kenya Moore in the past, D’banj quickly changed the subject to his son.

“I am a married man now, I must know how to draw the balance now since I have Daniel the third.

“You should see him, he is really cute.”

D’banj and Didi welcomed a baby, Daniel Oyebanjo III, in May just as he was preparing for the release of his new album King Don Come.
