Nollywood actress, Kehinde Bankole, and her twin sister, Taiwo Bankole, are celebrating their birthday.
The Queen Moremi actress took to Instagram to celebrate the special occasion.
Sharing a picture of her sister, she wrote: “To my best friend , prayer partner , no 1 cheerleader, critic, investor , advisor infact all post available chairLady 😁 Tee banks.
“God knew i could not have managed at all if i came alone and i couldnt have done much if i didnt have you, your glory shines so bright i am in awe of God’s gifts and beauty @_taiwobankole. Thank you for being my Twin sister, Happy birthday Taiwo. I love you.”
She posted a picture of herself later which she captioned, “You this fresh girl its you and me and of cause my twin another 365 days and beyond. Taiwo see frech gey.”
Her sister, Taiwo Bankole, an event planner, shared pictures of them together.
“Yaaaaaay its official…we are plus 1. Happy birthday to me and twinee @_kehindebankole My gap tooth mate Birth mate Womb mate More wins to us ijn,” she wrote.
Before making a name as an actress, Kehinde had relative success as a model.
She contested both the 2003 Miss Commonwealth Nigeria beauty contest and 2004 Most Beautiful Girl Nigeria beauty pageant.
After the contract of Genevieve Nnaji expired as a Lux ambassador, Kehinde was chosen along with Sylvia Udeogu and Olaide Olaogun to become the new face of Lux in 2007.
She made her acting debut during her reign as Lux ambassador in the family drama Super Story: Everything it Takes and has gone on to appear in movies like Two Brides and a Baby, The Meeting, Awakening and Render to Caesar.
