Kaffy addresses storm caused by statement on failed marriage

Dancer Kafayat Shafau aka Kaffy on Thursday said that she is not going to stop giving out advice on marriage just because hers did not work out.

The 41-year-old made the statement following criticism and backlash she received after revealing that her marriage to her husband has ended.

In a video posted on Instagram, Kaffy said, “In light of all the recent happenings around my marriage, I want to clear the air. Family is the fabric of the society and if we are not careful or intentional about every element that makes up a good society then we are not ready for the change we seek.

“I’m not called for everybody, I’m called for somebody and I maintain that. So the situation of being married or being single I am not going to stop that is for those of you that have a problem with it. The hypocrisy is just too much. I am not going to stop giving advice to those who need it.”

On the same past, the dancer wrote: “I Kaffy, I have chosen my path, deal with it or unfollow.”

Kaffy got married to Joseph Ameh in 2012 and they have two children together.
