Jonathan not dead, says Abati

Presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, has dismissed as mischievous the news that made the rounds on Friday that his principal, President Goodluck Jonathan, was dead.

Abati, writing on his Twitter handle, said Nigerians should beware of the enemies spreading such news.

Some Nigerians on the social media on Friday pronounced President Goodluck Jonathan dead.

But Abati, in his reaction, said: “President Jonathan is hale and hearty.

“Information being spread about his state of health and condition is mischievous.

“Beware of devilish elements!”
