Nollywood actor Jide Kokoso has thrown his weight behind his daughter Temi Kokosoko after the latter revealed her insecurities in the #NobodyLikeWomen challenge.
The challenge which was inspired by Simi talks about how society continues to mock women. The Women in black and white photos, pen down the hurtful words that have been said to them by critics.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Temi shared a photo with the words “She doesn’t have any talent, she is just enjoying her father’s grace,” written on it.
Reacting to the post, Jide threw his weight behind his daughter with words of encouragement.
“T. Girl, Never mind. Continue to shine Daughter, you can never rule out envy and criticism. Let that be your strength to move on.
“And mind you, they are not your enemies either, they exist to make you stronger and get the kind of positive comments u have here. I am proud of you. I have no doubt that you will be far far greater than me in Jesus mighty name. Amen,” he wrote.
Timi’s sister Bidemi also threw in words of encouragement.
According to her, she had also been told that she is only famous because of her father Jide Kosoko.
“They said this to me countless times but see ehn TEMILADE (1) You carry God’s Everlasting Grace (2) You are multi Talented (dont let anybody tell you otherwise) (3) You now have your father and Mother’s grace ah. Tgirl olun they are not ready won le wo tan you that am using to brag anyhow pe see my sister my blood gan gan,” she wrote.Â
