Former Delta State governor James Ibori and former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission Chidi Odinkalu on Thursday mourned BGL Group managing director/chief executive officer Albert Okumagba.
Okumagba died on Thursday morning, according to reports.
Tweeting a picture of the businessman, Mr Ibori wrote: “Egba Why? Rest in Peace my dear brother.”
Odinkalu simply tweeted: “Albert.”
Details about Okumagba’s death remained sketchy as of press time.
Meanwhile, the BGL Group has several subsidiaries which include BGL Capital, BGL Private Equity, BGL Security and BGL Asset Management.
