Award-winning music superstar, Tiwa Savage, has lamented on how hard it is to be a woman in this part of the world.

The ‘Ma Lo’ singer took to her Instagram live feed on Monday to reveal that she feels like giving up.

She wrote a number of hashtags on her page which suggest that there might be more this than meets the eye.

“It’s a sin to be a woman in Africa. #FeelLikeGivingUp #TiredOfFighting #TiredOf ProvingMyself #TiredOfSmiling,” she wrote.

Even though things appear to be going smoothly for Tiwa Savage who recently shut down the O2 Arena in London, all might not be quite well as revealed by the singer.

Her estranged husband, TeeBillz, recently showered praises on her as she sold out O2 Indigo Arena for her show in London on Saturday.

TeeBillz revealed that he once told Tiwa Savage that she was going to be the biggest female act from Africa.

Tiwa Savage got married to Tunji ‘Tee Billz’ Balogun on November 23, 2013 and their union produced a son, Jamil Balogun.

The couple separated after TeeBillz, in a series of social media posts, accused his wife of infidelity.
