IrokoTV boss Jason Njoku on oxygen support

Co-founder and CEO of IrokoTV Jason Njoku has said he is on oxygen support due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The father of three in a tweet on Wednesday shared a picture of himself on oxygen.

“Thanks all for your wishes. The kids all tested negative so they’re fine. @MrsMaryNjoku other than minor fatigue is fine. Me? This thing beat me up at home for a week,” he wrote.

“Since Monday I’ve been hospitalized with hardcore fever & need oxygen to support my breathing 🙏🏾. It will pass.”

Jason had on October 28 disclosed on Twitter that he and his wife Mary Njoku tested positive for coronavirus.

He launched IrokoTV in 2011. The web platform dubbed the ‘Netflix’ of Africa provides paid-for Nigerian films on demand.
