Actress Laide Bakare has debunked a rumour that she has gotten married for the third time.
Speculations about the actress’ supposed marriage began when she posted a loved-up video of herself and a man who she has now identified as her onscreen husband.
However, in a video shared on her Instagram account on Tuesday, the mother of three finally cleared the air, saying that the now-viral clip of herself and the actor is from a movie set.
In the video, Laide Bakare urged the public to stop calling him her husband as he is nothing more than a colleague. She disclosed that he played the role of her husband in multiple movies, one of which is Oko Laide.
“Stop it, you guys. I told you the other time that I made a video about my colleague, it was on a movie set. We played husband and wife, lover, it was almost like 3 movies back to back. Please he isn’t my husband, the title of the movie is Oko Laide,” she said in parts.
Laide Bakare has been married twice. Her first marriage with American-based businessman Olumide Okufulure produced a daughter Simi. while her second marriage with Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012 produced two sons.
The couple, however, separated after Mutairu was alleged to be involved in fraudulent activities which made the EFCC declare him wanted in 2014.
