A newly married woman has reacted to fake social media reports that she is Chidinma Okeke, the former Miss Anambra beauty pageant winner seen performing lesbian acts in a leaked video in 2016.
Pictures of Chidinma Anyaegbunam on her wedding day had circulated on social media claiming that she got married two years the sex tape scandal.
The woman, who is still on honeymoon, has, therefore, alerted the public on the mistaken identity, with a warning that those who published her wedding pictures as those of Ms Okeke should take them down and apologise.
In an Instagram message dripping with wits in spite of its serious subject, Mrs Anyaegbunam, a former Miss Unizik, declared that “I am not Chidinma Cucumber.”
The writer and aspiring entrepreneur said she understands the mix-up as both women are beauty queens, bear the same name and are “tall dark and beautiful.”
In another message sent directly to some of the offending publications, she wrote: “My attention has been drawn to my wedding pictures making rounds on social media, falsely accusing me of being involved in lesbian acts.
“Let me set the record straight; I was Miss Unizik 2013 and during this time, I diligently executed the duties of my office without any scandal.
“I am not a lesbian and I have never partaken in any lesbian act. This is just a clear case of MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
“Whether innocently or intentionally, individuals and social media houses who are peddling this falsehood should delete their posts or face dire legal actions.”
