The Nigerian music industry is populated by talented, up and coming acts with tall ambitions. But just like any avid observer of the entertainment business will tell you, it takes much more than talent and ambition to make it to the top in the fiercely competitive industry.
However, Helen Osang popularly known as Baene, the newest kid on the block, is filled with unbridled confidence that she has what it takes to have the industry eating out of the palms of her hand.
She said, “I know I am new in the music industry and we have a lot of talented musicians but that does not scare me; because I know what I have and I am going to work very hard to achieve my desire to rule supreme as a queen in the music industry.”
The one-time television presenter also stated that she sometimes derives inspiration for her songs from her pet dog. She quipped, “For my inspiration, it comes from anything around me, my little dog pet, my young nephew at home who gets on my nerves but I love him all the same. Even a moment of scolding from my dear mother can turn out a big inspiration.”
Cross River State-born Baene who recently released her debut single “Sweet Me” which was produced by Pwinxtonx is managed by Sunz Entertainment.
