Actress Olaide Oyedeji has opened up about her experience as a single mother.
Olaide, in a podcast video shared on her YouTube channel on Sunday, noted that she wouldn’t have believed if anyone told her she would have two baby daddies.
“I am a single mother by force and not by choice. I want to give birth to a celebrity who is a single mother by choice. Do not because for any reason, please a guy and you say you want to use a child to. There are many ways you can love someone without giving birth for them. If you think you’re that special, you’re not going to tie your destiny to giving birth to a celebrity.
“If anyone had told me that I would have two baby daddies, I would have denied it.”
Her statement has stirred reactions online, with many praising her honesty about the challenges of raising children without a partner.
Olaide, who is based in Germany, has in the past spoken about the struggles she faced in her relationship and motherhood journey.
In January 2024, she explained why her relationship with her baby daddy ended. She also revealed that she had gone through five cesarean sections and suffered the loss of a child.
The previous month, she told fans that the period following her separation was the longest she had stayed single in her life.
