IGP’s younger brother, Mohammed Aliyu, appointed Nasarawa SSG

Mohammed Aliyu, a younger brother of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has been appointed the new Secretary to the Nasarawa State Government.

Yakubu Lamai, spokesman of Governor Abdullahi Sule, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.

He said the appointment takes immediate effect.

Aliyu was until his appointment a principal partner at M.U Aliyu Chambers Lafia.

He was the chairman of Lafia Local Government Area from 1999 to 2002.

The former SSG, Aliyu Ahmed-Tijani, was sacked by the governor on Tuesday.
