Ruggedman thanks Ighalo for buying him match tickets to see Manchester derby

Manchester United forward, Odion Ighalo, bought match tickets for rapper, Michael Ugochukwu Stephens, popularly known as Ruggedman, to see the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on Sunday.

United defeated bitter rivals, Manchester City, 2-0 thanks to goals from Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay.

In a post on social media on Wednesday, Ruggeman thanked Ighalo for the tickets, saying he felt like the 12th man for the Red Devils.

“I was so close to the pitch I felt like the 12th man. Seeing my united players so close is a dream come true 😭🙏 @ighalojude thank you so much for the tickets to my very first live @manchesterunited game, which happened to be a derby #munmci which we won. God bless you bro, we are #mufc_family forever o,” he wrote as caption.

Ighalo was sent into the game in the 88th minute to replace fellow new signing Bruno Fernandes who got an assist for Martial.

The Nigerian has got off to a good start at Manchester United after joining on deadline day from Shanghai Shenhua. He has three goals in four appearances for the club.
