Big Brother Naija star Ifu Ennada on Tuesday responded to critics who insulted her for taking escorts with her to the #EndSARS protest held in Lagos.

Ifu said in a lengthy Instagram post that she was not feeling too well and had to get herself escorts for support.

“I’ve not been feeling well…which is why I didn’t join the protest last week. Yesterday I could barely walk, but I decided I’ll still come out today and lend my voice to this Cause,” she said.

For those of you hating and insulting me because I came out to protest with Bouncers, here's more stuff to hate on. I later climb bike‼️ Hate on that too Fools‼️ ___ I've not been feeling well…which is why I didn't join the protest last week. Yesterday I could barely walk, but I decided I'll still come out today and lend my voice to this Cause, but you haters that don't know my situation, you Haters that are not even out here protesting, you f**ls do nothing but hate and insult me. If I didn't come out you'll talk, I'm out now and you want to kill me. Na una family una go kill. _____ Your issue is that I came with Bouncers and dressed in a way you classify as "flashy". Was I supposed to dress like a Beggar? Is it your money I used to pay the Bouncers? ____ Do you know aside security – incase police decides to harrass Protesters like they did yesterday to those girls and others, do you they were here to support me incase I couldn't walk anymore because of my health? At some point I almost gave up. One of them offered to carry me but I refused knowing that you Idiots will misinterprete it. It was after this they found me a bike which helped me get to the venue and back. ______ Nigerian Youths, we are protesting because we want to #EndSARS, but if all you do is hate on people who stand out in ways you don't like, then you're very mad and deserve every bad thing happening to you. _____ For Those of you asking "who is she to carry Bouncers when others celebrities didn't?" Am I "other celebs", "are they me?" Am I modelling my life after any of them? ____ All you Haters are mad I swear. You don't deserve any of this explanation and even if I just came out just to flex, at least I showed up unlike you and it's still not your business and you're still very mad.
