Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Iheme Faith Uloma, popularly known as Ifu Ennada, has lamented the hike in price of disposable face masks in Lekki area of Lagos.

In a post on Instagram on Friday, the reality TV star expressed her disappointment over the hike from N10,000 to N15,000.

She blamed the hike on pharmacies who take advantage of the low level of awareness on the novel coronavirus.

“Nigerians are our own problem. I hope these pharmacies ripping people off their money also educate them on how to use them and also inform them that only those who already have the virus need to wear these face masks…,” she wrote.

Nigeria recorded the first case of Covid-19 on Friday.

An Italian has been isolated after testing positive to the virus. He arrived the country on Tuesday via Turkish Airlines which alighted at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos.

The patient visited Ogun State during his short business trip, officials have said.
