If I talk too much they will lock me up again – Naira Marley

Naira Marley in court

Musician, Naira Marley, has said that if he talks too much, he might be locked up again.

The ‘Soapy’ singer said this in a tweet on Wednesday.

“If I talk too much they will lock me up again, it’s not a threat it’s the truth. F#ck I’m on bail,” he wrote.

Last week, Naira Marley hit back at Twitter users calling him an illiterate countering the claim during a live session on Instagram.

Naira Marley said that he has lived in England for over 20 years and during that time he got an education slamming his critics.

The controversial figure switched from English to Yoruba while delivering his message.

Naira Marley obtained his freedom from prison in June after a stint at the Ikoyi Prison.

He is facing 11 counts bordering on cybercrime for allegedly conniving with one Yad Isril (at large) to use Access card issued to other persons in a bid to obtain gain, an offence contrary to Section 27(1) (b) of the Cybercrime Prohibition, Prevention Act 2015.

Witnesses from financial institutions are expected to testify at his next court appearance slated for October 22, 23 and 24.
