Actress and entrepreneur, Juliet Ibrahim, has said that the apology made by rapper, Iceberg Slim, for cheating on her when they dated came too late.

The 33-year-old said this during an interview on a Ghanaian radio station.

“I feel like it is coming too late but I appreciate the fact that he is apologising and he is clearing the air because I remember when it started and everybody was claiming and attacking me. I have no idea why they will always choose to attack the woman when something happens or when a break up happens.”

She said that she was happy that he had clarified what caused their relationship to end and hoped he found the healing he spoke of before saying that they had no chance of rekindling their romance.

But that was life, I went through it, I was strong to ignore all the negative comments and negative remarks that were made on me and attacks. But I’m just glad, I know he is a very good person so for him to do this, I just pray that it helps with the healing that he talked about and I’m glad that he came out to say it and now everybody knows what happened.”

Iceberg Slim, born Olusegun Olowokere, apologised for taking her love for granted in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Juliet Ibrahim and Iceberg Slim went public with their romance in 2017, showing off tattoos dedicated to their “love” and attending events together.

They were both at Iceberg Slim’s mother’s burial and at Banky W and Adesua Etomi’s wedding.
