Former governor of Delta State, James Ibori, has joined social media platforms – Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
His media aide, Tony Eluemunor, announced this on Thursday on Facebook.
Mr Eluemunor said the accounts have been authenticated to distinguish them from parody accounts.
“Please note that Chief James Onanefe Ibori is now on Facebook – James Ibori, Twitter @JamesIbori6, Instagram – officialjamesibori. These accounts have been authenticated. The authentication sign by the profile picture sets it apart from the other accounts which are parodies,” he said.
Ibori wrote on Twitter on Monday: “Hello everybody. After much persuasion, I finally gave in and created a Twitter account. This is my official account.”
He did same on Facebook.
As of press time, Ibori had five followers on Twitter, 49 followers on Facebook and five followers on Instagram.
