I persuaded one of my daughters to become an actress – Jide Kosoko

Veteran Nigerian actor, Jide Kosoko, has revealed that he had to persuade one of his daughters to become an actress.

In a chat with punchng.com, the 65-year-old movie star said he made the decision because she had potential.

“However, one of them in particular (Sola Kosoko) didn’t really show interest in acting but I saw the potential in her and I persuaded her to develop. She tried it and today, she loves it,” he said.

In the interview, Kosoko said that ladies who tried to gatecrash the movie industry were likely to be sexually exploited.

Sola Kosoko began her acting career in 1999.

She celebrated the birth of her girl child in April.

Sola is married to Abiodun Abina. They got married in 2012, in the Jibowu area of Lagos.
