Singer Seyi Shay claims she knew about American singer Rihanna’s pregnancy last year.
The 36-year-old said this on Twitter on Tuesday.
She wrote: “Big Congratulations to @rihanna This is the best news I’ve heard this year (but knew since last year).”
In the late hours of Monday, photos of Rihanna showing off her baby bump and her boyfriend ASAP Rocky circulated on social media.
The revelation came as a shock to fans who have been expecting a new album from the pop star but got a surprise pregnancy announcement instead.
Reacting to the news, the disc jockey lamented about being single while Rihanna is expecting a baby.
She tweeted: “Rihanna is pregnant and I’m still single.”
Music manager Don Jazzy who had been crushing on the American star also reacted to the news.
Sharing a photo of Rihanna and her lover on Instagram, he wrote “It is finished.”
