Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, has revealed that she has not been herself since she heard about the death of Kolade Johnson at the hands of men of the anti-cultism unit of the Lagos State Command.

The 40-year-old screen goddess said this via an Instagram post on Tuesday.

“I haven’t been myself since yesterday. I’m so pained and sad! Should we declare a day in Lagos where we’ll ALL protest SARS or SACS or whatever they call them?

“Meanwhile, the police in Nigeria need a total overhaul! What can we do as citizens? #GodBlessNigeria #EndSars #IsThePoliceTrulyOurFriend,” she wrote.

Omoni Oboli who is a police ambassador has not been the only celebrity to react to the unfortunate news.

Banky W, Waje, Adesua Etomi and Falz have also reacted to the sad news via social media.

Kolade Johnson was killed in the Olu Aboderin Street, Onipetesi area of Lagos after policemen came in search of youths dressed wildly and wearing dreadlocks.

Eyewitnesses say the police officers then stormed an eatery in the area where football fans had just finished watching a live English Premiership League football match between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

A source said that Mr Johnson, who was a friend to a man arrested by the police, challenged the operatives on why they would take away his friend.

In the process, Johnson was shot by one of the policemen. The victim was taken to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, but was pronounced dead on arrival by doctors.
