I could become rich by charging for meeting with people — Ezekwesili

Former presidential candidate, Oby Ezekwesili, has joked that she could become wealthy if people paid her a dollar after meeting her for the first time and changing their opinion of her.

She stated this in a Twitter thread on Monday.

“I could become quite wealthy if people paid me a $ for every time they met me for the first time and said, ‘Wow..never imagined you were so ordinary. I always thought you’d be so intimidating,'” she wrote.

“I suppose that’s their euphemism for, ‘I judged you from afar without knowing you.'”

Mrs Ezekwesili urged her followers on the social platform not to judge people from afar.

“Best be careful how you frame an opinion on people without really knowing them.

“I also have learned and still learning. Know no man or woman after the flesh is a deep counsel by Heaven. Add, know them not by distant presumptions,” the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize nominee added.

Ezekwesili, 57, served as minister of solid minerals and then as minister of education during the second-term presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo.
