Entertainer Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has revealed how former presidential candidate Peter Obi surprised him with a “Ghana Must Go” bag filled with fruits and nuts.
In a post on Instagram on Friday, Charly Boy said Obi called him around 1 am to announce he would be visiting by 5 am.
“When I come downstairs to meet him, na so I see one big Ghana Must Go by the entrance of my sitting room. I look at the bag, I just dey wonder, Wetin fit dey inside this bag?

Charly Boy, who campaigned for Obi during the 2023 election, is one of the politician’s most vocal supporters.
Human rights activist Deji Adeyanju, however, recently accused Obi of attempting to offer him money during the campaign. Adeyanju claimed Obi returned from a room with an envelope, saying, “This is just a small thing, thanks for coming.” He said he rejected the offer and left immediately.
Adeyanju insisted he went public only after Obi’s aides accused him of demanding N200 million. Obi’s camp has threatened legal action over the allegation, describing it as defamatory.
