Big Brother Naija reality star Nina Ivy has recollected how she gave birth to her son premature in her room before she was rushed to a hospital.
Nina has been making series of post on her Instagram story, chronicling her pregnancy journey and motherhood experience.
In her latest post, the mother of two said she had her birthday at 27 weeks old in her room in the US before her husband called 911.
She wrote: “There was no sign that I wanted to give birth, I knew that I was so pressed and needed to ease myself so badly, one mind told me that it could be the baby, but I was just 27 weeks but was like what if it’s actually the baby coming that is trying to come out. I’m like I will poop in this bedroom if it’s not the baby but I’m not using the restroom, I had to squat down in the bedroom and it was the baby. Denzel dad was there, he helped me call 911.
“There was no single drop of blood when he came out and he wasn’t even looking like a human and I was already passing out, I heard when his dad was panicking and they told him to cut the umbilical cord and he also was able to tear the sac Denzel was in coz my water never broke, that was when Denzel got a cold before the 911arrived, he was also dying coz he was very cold and couldn’t even breath.Then i remember waking up 2 weeks later.”
She welcomed her son Denzel in April 2020 instead of July.
