How Anambra pastor refused N4m, SUV from ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ boys

naira money cash

A pastor based in Anambra State, Ejike Nwachukwu, has said that he rejected N4 million and a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) offered him by two suspected internet fraudsters, known locally as ‘Yahoo Yahoo’, in exchange for prayers.

The suspected persons had met the preacher in his office to pray for the success of a deal they were to embark on, Southern City News said.

The pastor was said to have queried the persons about what they do for a living.

Nwachukwu told The PUNCH on Sunday that the persons first came with N2 million cash as seed offering seeking prayers for a business they were hoping to get God’s blessings on.

On further inquiry, the persons refused to disclose the deal but promised to bring him more money if the deal goes well.

The pastor said he prayed and it was revealed to him by God that they were into internet fraud which the persons confirmed.

“I walked them out of my office, but one returned with an extra N2m in the hope that if the money was much, I would accept it, but I sent them out,” he said.

The preacher advised clerics not to pray for or accept offerings from such people.
