The Prosecutor, Insp. Ingobo Emby, told the court that the defendant and others, still at large, committed the alleged offences on Oct. 17, at Lekki Gardens Horizon 2, behind Enyo Filling Station, Lagos.

Emby said that the defendant stole the jewellery valued at N600,000, and cash sum of N460,000, belonging to the complainant, one Mr Dolapo Adekanbi.

According to him, the offences contravened Sections 287 (7) and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.

Michael, however, pleaded innocent of the charge.
