Resident pastor of House on the Rock in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital Lanre Oluseye has expressed appreciation to everyone who celebrated him on his 50th birthday last Friday.
Several persons, including founder of House on the Rock church Paul Adefarasin and wife Ifeanyi, celebrated him.
On Monday, Oluseye said in an Instagram post that he was grateful for the love. He also shared photos of the party held in his honour.
“Turning 50 has really been an experience of jubilee. The rain of love, prayers, gifts, and celebrations I have experienced is unmatched,” he wrote.
“This arguably has been the season I have gotten the most attention in my life, and I am so grateful.
“To all my friends from all over the world who reached out in one way or the other, I say a big ‘Thank You.’
“To all the ministers who shut down their lives to come and stay with me to celebrate my jubilee, I am humbled. Thank you all.
“To my Pastors, leaders and members in House on The Rock, The Heritage House, Port Harcourt. What a blessing to call you my own. Your reward for all your labour of love is sure.
“To my Spiritual Parents, Pastor Paul and Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity you’ve given me to be a part of this wonderful family and to lead this esteemed congregation in the heart of Port Harcourt. Thank you for believing in me.
“To my Family, my beautiful children, my parents, and siblings, thank you for making this milestone an achievement full of joy and gladness. I am forever grateful.
“Beyond the euphoria, I also know that, as my Elder Brother Pastor Goke prophesied – ‘There is More’.
“I crave your indulgence to keep us in your prayers. I’m deeply and truly grateful.”
