Celebrities like Hilda Dokubo and Femi Adebayo have carried out a campaign against infanticide to celebrate Children’s Day.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Femi posted a video of himself and Hilda condemning the act of killing newborns or allowing them to die as way method of birth control.
Speaking on the issue, Femi noted that he is a proud father of twins and that children are a blessing from God.
“I heard of the abomination carried out on twins in some part of the country. I mean unthinkable madness in these modern times. I’m a proud father of twins and they are great blessings from God. Thank you @actionaidnigeria and all partnering with us to put a stop to this madness.”
Femi Adebayo also posted a photo of his lovely family to celebrate his children.
“Children are flowers from heaven and dearest to God. The responsibility is ours to make this earth a happy and better place for the kids. Happy Children’s Day,” he wrote.Â
