Two Catholic priests have reportedly been kidnapped along Benin-Owo Expressway at Elegbeka area of Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Rev Frs Joseph Nweke and Felix Efobi of Awka Catholic Diocese were said to have been abducted on Friday while on their way from Awka to Akure for a wedding.

A source told Punchng.com that the gunmen were only after the priests who were travelling with others.
Director of Media and Communications, Ondo Catholic Diocese, Rev Fr Leo Aregbesola, also confirmed the incident.
He added that efforts had begun to rescue the priests.
