Goodbye Kannywood: Rahama Sadau TOUCHES Akon on Hollywood movie set

Rahama Sadau

Popular Hausa-language actress, Rahama Sadau, who was banned in October by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) for “hugging and cuddling” in Classiq’s ‘I Love You’ music video, may have kissed Kannywood goodbye.

Images coming from Hollywood in Los Angeles show the 22-year-old making body contact with international rapper and actor, Akon, on the set of The American King.

Rahama was invited to Hollywood by Akon and Nigerian filmmaker, Jeta Amata, after she was banned for what MOPPAN described as her “immoral appearance in a certain video song”.

Holding Classiq was deemed a violation of Kannywood “codes of ethics known to all it practitioners”.

With MOPPAN shutting its door against her, Rahama told Pulse.ng that “I was welcomed with such warmth and incredible hospitality. I have only been here (Hollywood) a few days but I have already learned so much from these amazing people.”

“They are truly talented individuals with a wealth of experience and a great passion for what they do. I am looking forward to all the other amazing things in store for me over the coming days.”
