DJ Cuppy admits going bald was scary

Disk Jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed that going bald was a scary and bold move for her.

The 29-year-old said this in an Instagram post on Thursday night as she shared screenshots from Twitter, where fans, whom she called ‘Cupcakes’, commended her for her new look.

Addressing her fans, Cuppy wrote: ““My IG Cupcakes! I honestly love the fact that you like my new hair, I see your comments and DMs.

“Going bald was a scary and bold move for me so I appreciate every single one of you supporting me and welcoming this new Cuppy.”

The disc jockey had shared her new look on New Year’s Eve in a video where her hair was being shaved.

She also dyed her hair pink, a colour which had become her signature.

In a tweet on November 23, Cuppy stated that the main reason she works really hard is that she wants to retire at age 35, so she can spend time on a farm with her dogs.

“The main reason I work really hard is so that I can retire at 35 years old and live on abalumo farm with Dudu and FunFun,” she wrote.

The billionaire’s daughter was criticised on social media after she shared a video of herself kissing her dogs and apologising to the animal for being a bad mother to it.

Cuppy is currently a student at Oxford University England.
