Nollywood actresses, Gloria Young and Dolly Unachukwu, have appealed for public donations for fellow actress, Ify Onwuemene, who has Endometrial cancer.
They both made the appeal on Instagram on Sunday when they shared a picture of Ify on her hospital bed.
Gloria, 53, wrote, “Folks please we need help for our sister @ifyonwuemene an actress from the days of Sam loco and Enebeli Elebuwa… She has tried sourcing for funds on her own, but nothing is too small. Please send whatever you can to Ifey Onwuemene, Fidelity Bank 6010999993. Thank you.”
While Dolly, 50, simply re-posted Gloria’s post.
Ify Onwuemene, who is popular for her role on the television show, Everyday People, shared a video appealing for public assistance in June 2019.
The video caught the attention of singer, Davido, who promised to pay her medical bills.
