Genevieve Nnaji: Don’t believe all you see on social media, Uche Jombo reacts

Actress Uche Jombo has reacted to the rumour of her colleague Genevieve Nnaji’s mental breakdown.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the actress pointed out that not every report on social media should be believed.

Uche said this while responding to a fan who asked her to reach out to Genevieve and find out if the rumours were true.

The fan Adie Godwin wrote: “Uche please check on her and know if she’s okay. I know she’s your best friend.”

“How about you don’t believe everything you see on social media,” Uche replied.

Fans began expressing worry over Genevieve when she went completely silent on her 43rd birthday on May 3.

The actress did not post anything on social media to celebrate neither did she respond to goodwill messages by fans and colleagues.

A week after, exactly on May 10, the actress deleted all her Instagram photos and videos, months after she unfollowed everybody on the social media platform.

QED.NG reported that Genevieve caused a stir on March 12 when she labelled mental health a spiritual condition.

Speaking in a message posted on social media, the actress said, “Mental health is more spiritual than it is physical. Rededicate your life to the God that you serve. Get rebaptized.”
