Five persons have been feared dead on Thursday when supporters of a former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, clashed with those of a former House Committee chairman on Appropriation, Abdulmumuni Jibril.
The clash was said to have occurred at 2pm in Bebeji local government area of Kano State.
Several vehicles were set on fire in the bloody clash.
Kano Police Commissioner, Mohammed Wakili, in response to a question on the incident said, “I have not been briefed yet. When I am properly briefed I will brief the press.”
