Actor Adeola Shoremi, popularly known as Baba Lanko, has lost his house to a fire outbreak.
The incident was shared by his ex-wife Mama No Network in a video circulating online on Tuesday.
Sharing the video of the incident, she wrote, “Lanko Omo Oba Dubai house got burnt. I pray may God will recover all his losses soon.”
Details about the cause of the fire and the extent of damage were not immediately clear as of the time of filing this report.
Lanko is known for his roles in Yoruba-language Nollywood films, where he features mainly in comic and supporting roles.
Lanko and Mama No Network, whose real name is Kudirat Abeniade, were married for several years and have a child together. Their relationship later broke down, with both speaking in interviews about challenges in the marriage. The exact date of their separation has not been publicly disclosed.
