FG suspends 12 EFCC directors

Acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mohammed Umar has received the notice of suspension of 12 directors of the agency.

Mr Umar got the notice on Tuesday night from the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation, The Nation reports.

The directors have been suspended with immediate effect.

The move is believed to be connected with the ongoing investigation of the suspended acting chairman of the agency, Ibrahim Magu.
