Afrobeat king, Femi Kuti, and his ex-wife, Funke, on Tuesday, celebrated their son, Omorinmade, who clocked 21 on the day.
The proud parents took to Instagram to express his joy and love for him while he assured him that he will always wish and pray for the best for him.
“Hbd llnp to my first son Omorinmade Afolabi Anikulapo-Kuti I’m so proud of u.
“Always wishing and praying for the best for u, I love you,” Femi wrote.
“If Music be the food of Love then play on my Child!!! My darlings please join me in prayers and celebration for today is my Sons Birthday. Yup this Handsome dude right here is mine. Today as you add another year my darling son Made I’m so proud of the man you have become. I’m proud for all the thoughtful things you do. Your loving heart is so amazing. At your young age you already have a heart of Gold,” Funke wrote in her private Instagram account.
Made is the only son of the marriage between Femi and Funke.
He is a student of the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance in London.
His love for music started at the age of two when he picked up a trumpet and kept blowing into it and actually producing sound to his surprise.
Although he is yet to begin his solo journey in the Nigerian music industry, he started touring with his father, Femi at the early age of eight.
