Femi Branch urges Dayo Amusa, Femi Adebayo to settle dispute

Actor Femi Branch has urged his colleagues Dayo Amusa and Femi Adebayo to settle their dispute caused by the controversy about crossdresser Bobrisky, winning the best-dressed female prize at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere.

The controversy arose following the recognition of Bobrisky as best dressed female at a movie premiere which was announced by Femi Adebayo.

Speaking video shared on his Instagram account, Femi Branch weighed in on the conflict between the two actors who are at loggerheads over the award outcome.

The Iwaju star said he has spoken to Femi and Dayo and they should make peace with each other.

The actor further urges the public to focus on promoting Eniola’s film instead of the controversy around the best-dressed winner.

Speaking further, the 53-year-old stated that if Eniola Ajao had asked him to announce Bobrisky as the winner, he would have agreed.

He said: “What Femi Adebayo did could have happened to any of us. If I was to be at the event which I was supposed to be but I was working and that it was me Eniola called under to announce the winner and everything, you know the spur of the moment and he says okay… I would announce it, at that moment I won’t think of any implication or anything.

“I’m not trying to justify what anybody does, am saying that what Femi Adebayo did if I was there, I could have made that same mistake and I wouldn’t know that at that point in time that it was a mistake.”
