Actor Femi Adebayo has expressed excitement that his limited series Seven Doors has earned a nomination at the 2025 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA).
The Netflix series was nominated in the category of Best Soundtrack in Movie/Series/Documentary for the score ‘Tori Ife composed by Tolu Obanro.
Sharing the good news on Instagram on Friday, Femi posted a promotional artwork of the series and wrote:

The actor’s joy comes months after Seven Doors clinched multiple wins at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). Femi won Best Lead Actor, Chioma Akpotha was named Best Lead Actress, while Tolu Obanro also picked up the Best Music Score award for his work on the project.
Seven Doors is a six-part Netflix limited series which premiered globally on December 13, 2024, after a Lagos cinema premiere on December 11.
The period drama, directed by Femi Adebayo alongside Tope Adebayo and Adebayo Tijani, was produced by Euphoria 360 in collaboration with Netflix.
Set in 18th and 19th-century Ilara in Ondo State, the story follows Adedunjoye (played by Femi Adebayo), a humble family man chosen unexpectedly to become king. His reign is marred by an ancestral curse, forcing him to confront tradition when a priest declares that he must marry seven wives to save his people.
The series features a star-studded cast including Chioma Akpotha, Jide Kosoko, Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), Gabriel Afolayan, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Muyiwa Ademola, Hafiz Oyetoro, Ronke Odusanya and Taiwo Hassan.
Since its release, Seven Doors has received praise for its cultural authenticity, costumes, cinematography and strong performances. It also became one of the most-watched Nigerian originals on Netflix at the time of its debut.
