Faze loses mum months after twin sister’s death

Singer Faze has announced the death of his mother eleven months after his twin sister died.

The ‘Originality’ singer made the announcement in an Instagram post on Monday.

With a heavy heart, he wrote: “I don’t know how to express what’s in my heart. My heart is heavy. My Mum passed on last Wednesday, January 12th. This, after my twin sister left this world last year.

“I don’t know why so many good people I love are leaving but I just hold on to the thought that God is God and he knows what he is doing. It is well. I just thank Him that she lived a full life and is done with the troubles of this world. Rest well Mummy.”

Celebrities like Okon Lagos, Chigul, Princess, Joyce Kalu, Niyola and others wrote consolatory messages in the comment section of the post.

Born Chibuzor Oji, Faze lost his twin sister Ifeyinwa in February 2021. She died two days before their birthday.

The singer announced Ifeyinwa’s death in an Instagram post on February 22.

“It’s a sad day. My Twin sister has left me just two days to our birthday. We the Oji family take strength in knowing that she’ll never have to deal with this world’s problems anymore. We know she’s in a better place now,” he wrote.
